17 Nov

Baylor came into the game the higher ranked team but for the second time in just a few hours the higher ranked team playing a true road game has fallen as #25 Oregon defeats #20 Baylor 74-67.  This was a game that felt like Baylor was playing catch up for 40 minutes, in fact their last lead of the game came at 13-12 with 10:45 left in the first half and the Bears trailed by as many 16 in the 2nd half.

The victorious Ducks had five players in double figures led by Elgin Cook and Chris Boucher who each netted 15 and Tyler Dorsey added 12 with six rebounds and five assists.  Even playing a bit shorthanded without Jordan Bell on the inside and Dylan Ennis in the backcourt Oregon got 13 from Dwayne Benjamin and 10 from Dillon Brooks.

Baylor shot just 39% and got just 19 points and six rebounds from their leaders; Rico Gathers and Taurean Prince.  Picking up the slack offensively were Al Freeman and Johnathan Motely who combined for 39 points and 14 rebounds in the loss.
